Swami Vivekananda vidyamandir at Harveypatti is established and run by Sri Bangaruammal Educational Trust of Chennai, with a vision to shape and inculcate the future leaders to serve with value and societal status. Having the mission to train students to become dedicated, committed, intellectually well developed, socially concerned, morally upright and spiritually oriented leaders, it is thriving to reach the pinnacle of success.It also gives more importance for moral and value education,spiritual and technological education, career development courses, personality development programmes etc.

Mr.P.Markkannathas is the Founder Chairman of the Trust and his sincere, unrelenting efforts have led to the establishment of institutions at Harveypatti under the auspices of Mr.Govindaraj- Director of swami Vivekananda vidyamandir and other staff members of the organization. The founder secretary of the Trust Mrs.M.Jeyanthi was also instrumental in setting up several institutions run by the Trust.
